Everyone is nervous before their photosession. It makes no difference if you pose for a portrait or if you are at your wedding day. I had a little pre-shoot with Lisbeth & Vidar last week. We got to know another a bit better, I learnt more about their personalities, and they about me, and how I photograph. We had many laughing moments, they are a fun couple and I am looking forward to their wedding in September.

I have had a shooting break for a week now. Finally summer has reached Norway and I have Simon from Germany here. We have been enjoying summer in Stavanger, went hiking to Kjerag and spent time with my lovely friends boat cruising.
I will be back behind the camera on Thursday for a pre-wedding shoot 🙂
In order to develop and learn new things I have been watching the making of conceptual photography lately. In the past days I have challenged myself with self portraits and new editing techniques. This is from today, with my lovely friend Tifany who modeled for me.

Conceptual photography
I am so proud – my images were featured in the Norwegian Wedding Blog . The Blog has become really famous recently, the more Julie and I feel honored.
Julie Vold and I have photographed weddings and engagement sessions together since last year. A good choice to have two photographers. More valuable time can be spent with the groom and bride. We divide our responsibilities and get together after the church for the couple shoot. Holding reflectors, swapping cameras and lenses and much more…

Yesterday I photographed Evy and her girls. I am telling you that with the little divas you need lots of patience. I have been going trough a couple of hundred images and selected down to the best ones so far. Eyes closed, hands in the face, hair over the eyes, tongue out, running from left to right and….even tears 😦
